Junior Choir

Clinic:  2:00 p.m.

Scheduled In-Audience Observation:  2:30 p.m.

Every spring, Alberta Choral Federation holds non-competitive choral festivals in Edmonton and Calgary.  Choirs participate in both an adjudicated performance and an individual workshop session with recognized clinicians from across North America.

Alberta Choral Federation encourages the participation of all levels and abilities of choirs.  In the evaluation and workshop, the emphasis is placed on the continued ecouragement, education, and development of the individual choir.  Participation in Choralfest is an important component of our choral music education program.

Evaluators this year are Kellie Walsh (St. John's, NL),  Dr. Debra Cairns (Edmonton, AB), and Dr. George Evelyn (Lethbridge, AB)

The fee for Choralfest is $200. per choir and is included in the fees that parents pay for their children to belong to the Westside Junior and Senior

choirs.

Sessions are open to parents and friends at no charge.
