Westside Children's Choir has been called Calgary's most family-friendly choir! If your child loves to sing and you're looking for a fun and inviting learning environment, this is a great place to be!

The Westside Children’s Choir is made up of seventy five singers in two choirs. The choirs perform a variety of music in a range of styles and from different periods. Some songs are also enhanced by choreography specifically tailored to the song style, which adds an exciting element to the performance experience.

Jean Czaja, a respected choir director and teacher, founded the choir in 1995. The directors of the Westside Children’s choirs are professional teachers and musicians. They are dedicated to instilling a love of music and singing in their individual choir members, while working to achieve excellence in the choir’s sound.

The Westside Children’s Choirs perform at a number of different concerts through the year. They regularly thrill their audiences and adjudicators with their musicality, tone, and joy of singing.

There are no auditions and no experience is necessary. We offer an easy-to-manage rehearsal, payment and performance schedule, PLUS no fundraising is required! We are also pleased to provide open rehearsals. We invite and encourage you to come and hear your child sing!
